A geospatial intelligence environment combining satellite observations, climate indicators and analytical models to understand changing conditions across West Africa.
ECOWARN workbook · record-level summary
Counts describe rows with valid coordinates returned by the current ECOWAS endpoint; they are not assumed to be unique incidents.
Disease-outbreak records are identified by the source Event Type field. Potential conflict matches use keyword screening and require review.
Climate-layer overlap is exploratory and does not establish that climate conditions caused an incident. Confirm source definitions, date coverage, duplicate handling, and reporting completeness before operational use.
Choose “Load snapshot” to calculate the summary from the supplied dataset.
Scenarios combine existing layers and, where relevant, ECOWAS records. They support exploration, not causal claims or validated predictions.
The panel will explain which indicators are active and what the selected scenario can—and cannot—tell us.
